Senior Technical Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

Innovex is looking for a talented and driven Senior Technical Consultant to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O practice. As part of our experienced technical team, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing D365 F&O solutions using X++ and the Microsoft tech stack. You will work alongside functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders to develop, customize, integrate, and maintain enterprise-grade ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions within MS Dynamics 365 F&O using X++ and other Microsoft tools.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Perform system integration, develop APIs, and ensure seamless data flow between D365 and third-party systems.
  • Optimize performance through code tuning, refactoring, and deployment best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across environments and provide technical resolutions efficiently.
  • Write and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Support go-live activities and post-implementation technical support.
  • Follow Microsoft's development lifecycle methodologies (ALM) and ensure code quality, security, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development using X++, and strong knowledge of Microsoft development tools and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in system integration, custom workflow development, batch jobs, and extensions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting performance and debugging issues.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, LCS, and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture and data structures in D365 F&O.
  • Familiarity with Finance, Supply Chain, or other D365 modules is a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (Technical track) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O development using X++, and strong knowledge of Microsoft development tools and frameworks.
